Wednesday 27th April

Nicola and Hermione came into our P1-3 classroom because everyone else in their class was at hockey.

We walked to the cheese factory to book a time so we can make cheese then we went to the play park on the way back.
We played at the grass pitch at the end of school we did races and played football and egg and spoon races and we played on the adventure playground. We saw crabs that Lewis’s Granddad had caught.
We saw a turkey it was showing off by fluffing out its feathers – Hermione can make brilliant turkey noises!
We painted British flags for the royal wedding and we also typed on the computer about the royal family.
The bit our class liked most was the play park.

  1. Can anyone visit the cheese factory or can you because you live in Skeld? We’ve tried some samples of the Shetland cheese and really liked it – a visit would fir well with our crofting project.
P6 and P7 went to Urafrith School last week and then to Braewick – they thought the playparks were one of the best bits too!

Did you know you can make slide shows in vimeo http://vimeo.com/ and then paste the link into your blog so people can watch it? Get in touch if you are not sure and would like to try.

A P3 and a P4 made this one which is on our blog.
