We made a troll video for 10 pieces and it was fun. We made a girl called Melody and her cat called Fudge as well. Take a look at our video.

In science we were finding out which step was the fastest and slowest. We had to measure how far the athletes were going to work. We measured 20 metres. I was the timer and Hannah was the athlete and Sonia was the recorder. I had to tell the recorder how long it took for the athlete to do each step. The recorder had to write down the time. The athlete had to do the steps. We found out that the fastest step was the sprint. The slowest step was tiptoe. Some of our predictions were different.

Today I finished my 10 pieces work! I used the Toontastic to make my animation and it was inspired by The Horn Concerto.
I uploaded my work onto our BBC 10 Pieces Wiki.

We are doing lots of different work in response to the 10 pieces of music in the BBC 10 Pieces project. We have made a wiki to show all of our work. You can find the link on the blogs and wikis page of this blog. Look on the right sidebar or click on the page tab at the top of this column. We are just starting to put up work so please keep coming back to have a look and see what has been added!

Today was the day that the Solar Eclipse happened . It was amazing it was brilliant it was spectacular. The sun looked like an orange moon.
The second time we went out side the sun was just a little slip because the moon had nearly covered it. Also when we when tout the second time it was raining but I didn’t mind. I wouldn’t mind what weather was I just wanted to see the Solar Eclipse.
These are photos taken of the eclipse by Julia Lyth at our school.

On Wednesday we did science outside. We were experimenting to see which way is the fastest to move. We had to think of different ways we move. We said sprinting , jogging, jumping, walking, tip-toeing, hopping, skipping, galloping, walking backwards and side-stepping. We had to predict which step we thought was the fastest. Some people thought sprinting would be the fastest and some people thought galloping would be the fastest. I was timing Emer who was being the athlete and Sofia was writing down how long the time was. We kept the athlete the same and the distance the athlete had to travel the same. We need to do some more experiments before we can see which step is the fastest.

In technology we have been doing game and I have nearly finished mine. My game is called Vlotos and it is really fun. Vlotos are little laminated rainbow clouds and they have a bit of magnetic tape on the back which means you can use a magnetic rod to pick them up. The board kind of looks like a chess board only the black squares aren’t black they are green. When I finish my game I will be very excited because I can’t wait to play it. This is a picture of my game.

In 10 pieces I had an idea about an animation of a chase but then some one said maze so that got me thinking. Then some one else said mine-craft so that give me another idea. So then I thought that I could make a mine-craft maze. So I downloaded it and made a new world and started making a maze it took one session or two but then I finally made it and then I played and then I recorded it uesing screen cast O matic .

It was World Book Day yesterday. Our librarian Peanuts was razing money so that she could buy a shelter box, a shelter box is a box that contains stuff you need to survive it al so has a tent. The shelter box aid go to places where people have been through disasters like hurricanes, volcanic eruptions and tsunamis. It costs 500 pounds to by the tent and the box.
The theme this year was Disney. There were a raffle, a book stall and a gift swap.

Today we did a story with other schools because it was digital learning week. We had to carry on the story because the first three started the story yesterday , Cathy Macphail started the story of for us. We did chapter 7, we had a dead-line because at 10:45 the other school will start the next chapter . The main characters were Suze, Mr Morris, Jeff and Jessica. I enjoyed working with the class on our chapter and reading what other schools have added to the story.
