Suspicious Snake

One day he got a phone call; there was a robbery; Detective Snake to the rescue! as soon as he got there he investigated. The robbery had been at the Wilbert’s house, he was about to step in to the Living Room, but just before he noticed a smashed clock lying on the floor hmmmm… snake thought hard, there must be some kind of clue in the next room. In the room there was some spilt red paint, there was a tyre mark in it, the robber must have cycled here, and he stole the paint; but who was it?

Red Pyjamas

Once there was a girl who wore red Pajamas all day and her name was Sophie her parents were absolutely horrible to Sophie. So one day while her mom and dad were sleeping she snuck out to the forest before she left she took her bike and a bag full of camping stuff and then she cycled into the forest . Then she took out her watch and looked at the clock on her watch it said midnight she slept later she woke up suddenly there was a noise she though it was a snake she got bitten by that creature.

The Red Snake

One day there was a red snake and a boy called Noah and the boy was cycling in the woods when he saw that snake. He said “I remember that snake before!” Then he thought about the time he first saw the snake. “I miss that times!” He saw his clock, He said “Oh No I am late to go home!” Then he rushed back home. The Snake Who Liked Red Food

Once there was a red snake that lived in a deep dark burrow and he liked hunting for red food. At night and day he always set his clock to half past six in the morning and quarter to five at night. He alwayse got up at half past six in the morning and went too put the Recycling down the road and get it cycled then he went back up the road to his cosy burrow. In was night time so the snake ate his tea which was red food. He loves red food then after he fell asleep.

Ongoing Noise

Once in the rainforest deep in a slimy bog there was a snake with red glowing eyes and a mouth, hungry for on going noise. Just then the snake was in luck a very noisy boy cycled past on a bike with a clock in his pocket, the snake leaped out, his mouth wide open ready to eat the little boy thankfully the boy turned just before he got horribly scoffed ….. reached into his pocket…….. and stuffed the clock into his mouth and the snake slithered back into the bog. From then on the boy never made a noise again.

No Ordinary Snake

One day there was a snake no ordinary red snake a friendly snake. All he wanted was a friend, whenever he wanted to say hello everyone would shriek and run away. One day he was so tearful he cycled away. Then suddenly he weirdly saw a clock ” Can I be your friend?” he sobbed. The clock just sat there and went tick tock. He carried it closely to his chest and put in the basket on the bike and cycled away. He cycled and cycled until he saw a grizzly and opened his humungus jaw “gulp…………” he swallowed in fear…………

Literacy Activities

This term we have started to be doing literacy activities to help with our word power. We could do Sum-dog reading, any game out of the literacy cupboard, we could read and also a word puzzle. We do it at either 20 past 9 or quarter past 9 and we have half an hour to do them. Personally I really like doing all the activities.

Viking Longships

We are doing about Vikings this term. We are making longships. We had to start a plan in our technology books. We had to think about fastenings, materials, tools. After we talked about the problems that we could solve during the build. We decided what could be the problems individually and most we talked about in a group. We gathered cardboard boxes, tubes to make then. We looked for cardboard boxes and tubes for this longship. Here is my plan.

Our Viking Project

Maths

We have been learning about different sums. subtraction learning some of the names of triangles and learning to use a pair of compass. A compass is not a compass that you see North East West South its one that you draw circles with. We did that today on the 22/01/18 I enjoyed doing it. We learned how to write down and exchange in subtraction it help me know how to do harder subtraction sums. We learned how to know what the names of the triangles and know the properties of a triangle.

The Brick Viking

I made a brick Viking this morning. His name is Bricky, for obvious reasons and it took me most of the morning to make him but it was worth it. He is a huge attraction and looks really good for a brick figure.

He had photos with a lot of people, but I chose the one with him alone.

Yoga

One week when we were doing P.E. with Miss Jamieson and she thought we could do some yoga so we did. Miss Jamieson found some videos on YouTube that we had to copy but first for a warm we did my name is Jo, it was a different version to the one we know but it was still fun anyway. After the warm up we listened to a story but you had to do yoga actions along with it like supposing there was a dog then you would pretend to be a dog. Overall I thought yoga was really funny.
