The Walk to See Houses and Homes

On Wednesday the 20/05/15 we went for a walk around Burravoe and spoke about the homes belonging to people. We spoke about what they are made of and are they detached,Semi-detached,Terraced,Bungalow,Flats,Caravans or other.Other are like the Old Haa or a shop. We all had clipboards so we wrote down or ticked the box which said the right kind of house. A detached house is when its stands all alone by itself. A semi-detached house is when they are two houses joined up. A  terraced house is when there are lots of houses joined up. A bungalow is one house with no stairs and flats are houses one on top of each other.

We saw 5 detached houses, 16 semi-detached houses, 1 row of terraced houses,2 bungalows,0 flats, 1 caravan,1 other which was the Old Haa. Kerrys house was a church and now she lives in it.
On the walk we saw sheep, cars, fields, people, flowers, boats, clouds.

I enjoyed the walk because I liked seeing the houses.

The first photo is a house but it used to be a church. The second photo is a detached house. The third photo is houses joined up together which is called terraced houses.
