Scots Language Poems

Over the past few weeks pupils have been working incredibly hard to produce some fantastic pieces of Scots poetry.

These poems have been written as part of a cross-curricular project with the Art Department for a competition sponsored by Kelso Burns Club.

Future weeks will see artwork being incorporated into the project, but for the moment please enjoy a selection of some of the poems.

‘First Day at Kelso High School’

KelsoHigh

Today we worked on planning the initial stages of our reflective essay based on our experience of our ‘First Day at Kelso High School’.

We made notes on how pupils felt both the night before and when they first woke up in the morning.

If you were absent and missed this lesson, click on the link below to access what you missed.   If you have any questions, see me as soon as possible.
