  1. We enjoyed it when Caitlin’s mum came in and when we did our books. And we learnt that Romans had gladiator fights and ate dormice with honey. B

  2. We enjoyed the Roman afternoon. We learnt that the gladiators didn’t only fight people. There was so much war. we would like to live in the Roman times because we would be able to kill anyone. By Jackson f and Ross

  3. I have enjoyed the most was picking up the swords.
    I have learnt that the romans would stab the leaders if they were mean.
    I was surprised that the romans eat with their hands.
    We would not like to live in the roman times because if you were poor you would have to be a slave.

  4. We were surprised that the Roman helmet was so heavy and that Claudius was poisoned by his wife but we would never like to live in the Roman times because of all the violence and fighting, and you would die when you were round about 31.

  5. We have enjoyed making our roman book because it was very interesting.
    We learnt that women never had rights in those days.
    What surprised us was that Claudius married his niece and she poisoned him with mushrooms.
    If we were rich we probably would like to but if we were poor we would not because its very hard and you would probably be killed the second you start living on the streets. By Isla and Brendan :):)

  6. We loved making our monumental book and we learned that boys learnt to fight at the age of twelve. Some of the roman food surprised us hugely!!! We would not like to live in the roman times because you can be killed easily and die easily from all of the diseases. Some of the food that they ate were disgusting like peacock and pig heads.   7. 1.We learnt about Boudicca.
    2.We were surprised about Romans died at a little age.
    3.There was no technology!

  8. We enjoyed Caitlin’s mum coming in. We learnt that the Syrian
    archers helmet was curved because the arrows bounced off.
    We were surprised that chain mail was not made for swords but
    it was for arrows. We would not like to live in the roman times because their food was disgusting and there was a 99.9% of dying.
