Outdoor Learning

At Wallacetown our children have access to a vast outdoor area with a grass area also. Our children are encouraged to participate in outdoor play in all weathers, so please ensure your children are appropriately dressed for rain, hail or shine!

We also take part in the Daily Mile initiative, which is a free and simple initiative which improves the physical and mental health of children. It’s a social activity where the children walk, run or jog, at their own pace, for 15 minutes every day, which has been proven to improve focus in the classroom.
