Welcome to Primary 3. We are a fantastic class of 24 pupils (11 boys and 13 girls). We are a kind, caring class who are working hard to focus on our school values by showing kindness, respect and responsibility every day. Our class teacher is Mrs Paterson and Miss Phillips teaches us on a Wednesday. Mrs Paton works with our class throughout the week to help us with our learning too.
We are very excited to lead our ‘Harvest’ church service this year, and preparation is well under way! The I.D.L topics we will be exploring this session are ‘The Nineties and Noughties’, ‘Retail and the Consumer’, ‘Famous Scottish Landmarks’ and ‘Sustainable Future’. We will also have the opportunity to select our own class topic and will be taking part in a whole school topic later on in the year.
Our P.E days are a Monday and Friday this session, with Mrs Shepherd and Mr Lewis. Primary 3 with also take part in workshop sessions led by the Youth Music Initiative (YMI) to develop their musical skills. These fun and engaging lessons will build confidence, teamwork and musicianship while enjoying the benefits of making music together.
We are looking forward to a fun filled year of challenge, opportunities and making lots of new memories together on our Primary 3 learning journey.
