P2/3 is made up of 7 boys and 12 girls who love a good book! This term, we have focused on reading Bug Club books in class, reading for enjoyment in the library and listening to our teacher read our Talk for Writing story. In our class, we aim to respect everyone’s rights and we have created a Lilo and Stitch class charter. One of our rights we have chosen is the right to have our own views and opinions listened to. Miss Ewing listens to what our interests are and uses this in class to plan fun and engaging lessons. In maths, we have been focusing on place value and the number line to 50.  We are trying to become more independent in our learning and use stuck strategies to help us with our work. We have a stuck strategy box with lots of resources to help us. We have also been focusing on our feelings and big emotions. We are looking at strategies to support us with this.
