Parent Council and Fundraising Committee

All parents who have children in Heathfield Primary are automatically a part of the Parent Forum. Our Parent Forum has set up a Parent Council which represents the views of all parents and acts on their behalf. The Parent Council meets in the school once a term on a Wednesday evening at 7.00pm – all parents are very welcome to attend.

The Parent Council lead fundraising events such as Mufti Days, a disco for each year group, Beetle Drives, Bingo evenings and Race Nights. All parents are very welcome to attend where any support you can offer is much appreciated.

How the Money Raised Benefits Every Child

All money raised by the Fundraising Group benefits each and every pupil in the school, providing much-appreciated support towards the funding of completed initiatives such as our new ICT suite. Last session funds were used to significantly support the introduction of a great variety of new reading materials. These enhance learning and are enjoyed by pupils across the school who find the novels exciting and fun to read.

This session marks the beginning of a new venture where funds are being used to support a grand multimedia investment which will have a substantial impact on the sound, lighting and projecting facilities in the Main Hall.
