Christmas 2017
WOW! What a busy month …….
In the Early Years Centre we have enjoyed visits to Maidens to post our Santa letters and enjoyed some snack in the cafe, the children have made some new friends too! Then we had another fun visit to Maidens to see Uncle Billy which was lots of fun too…..he even made us balloon dogs!
We were then invited to Alloway nursery to have fun on the soft play bus and a play in their nursery too. We have been very lucky getting invited to all these places. There’s been lots of arts and crafts in the playroom and lots of mess from the cheeky elves!!
This week we had fun at our party, even invited Mrs Hill, Mr Parks and Jacqui whilst the school children were at the panto! It was a yummy party snack and bursting the balloons was great fun. And to finish our week and this term we had a lovely day at Dobbies visiting Santa and having our breakfast, before playing party games with the elf and Santa.
We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
Halloween Fun
We had lots of fun for Halloween, Eve was a scary witch, and Calum a racing car. The children dooked for apples, made some Halloween crafts, played some games and made our own chocolate apples and enjoyed a scary Halloween snack!
Road Safety
Nikkita and Elsi came to the nursery to talk to the children about Road safety and how we cross the road. Mr Parks brought the Stop children sign to show how he stops the traffic on the road!
P1 visit
The new big P1 children came to visit us in nursery today to show us some of the stuff they have been learning. They all look so grown up and smart in their uniforms!

Outdoor Learning in Ayr
The nursery children had a fantastic day out exploring Ayr, we had a look at some of the shops to see what they sold, got some money out the bank, we learned how to cross the road with the green man! The boys picked where they would like to go on holiday, before using the payphones to book it 🙂 We saw a shop that was selling a Robert Burns picture, and the Steven Brown artshop with the Mccoo before getting a lollipop from the barbers on the way past. Next stop was the ice cream shop for snack, before walking down to the beach for lots more fun, practice sports, building sandcastles, writing our name in the sand and lots more!!!
Trip to alloway library
We enjoyed a trip on the 361 bus to alloway library to collect some books for the nursery. We had to ask the driver for the tickets and pay the money!!!
