At this week’s assembly we celebrated the achievements of our swim team who won a host of rosettes at the Carrick Swimming Gala as well as taking away the Village School Shield. We are all so proud of each and every one of you.
Nikkita received a Maths Award for her budgeting skills during Financial Education Week and Christopher was this week’s Dojo Champ. Great job.
The wee class had many successes and achievements last week which we shared at assembly.
Lacey and Oscar both received Handwriting Awards for neat writing and staying on the line.
Lacey also got a literacy award from Mrs Blain for her hard work doing the 5 Minute Box and Charlie was this week’s Dojo Champ in the wee class. Well done to you all.
Well done this week to Kyra and Lacey who both got 100% in their spelling tests. They each received a Literacy Award at this week’s Celebrating Success Time.
Also a very well done to Lily who one this week’s Dojo Champ.
Nathan got a double whammy at celebrating success time this week. He got a Homework Award for his effort and content and also bagged Dojo Champ. Great job Nathan. 
The whole of the big class also got recognition for their fabulous work in writing books for their reading buddies in the wee class. All staff were super impressed with their efforts.
Well done to Leith, Harvey and Megan who all received certificates at this weeks assembly. Leith got a numeracy award for super subtraction from 10, Harvey got a literacy award for writing an excellent descriptive piece and Megan also got a literacy award for her riddle about a cow.
The wee class had 3 Dojo Champs this week. Well done to Charlie, Kaleyll and Mia. Great job.
Well done to Tegwen, Oliver and Martha, who all received certificates at this weeks assembly.
The big class have been working on a music festival project and Tegwen’s group work and Oliver’s problem solving during this project we recognised.
Martha was the Big Class’ Dojo champ.

Kieran has moved up a belt in Taekwondo and Christopher was this week’s Dojo Champ.
Christopher and Martha both received numeracy awards for being the challenge champs in division loopcards.
Nikkita and Matthew both received Achievement Awards for showing creativity in their Chinese New Year models.

Well done to Eve who received a superstar award at assembly this week for being so confident in participating in activities, even in unfamiliar situations. Great Job!
We had lots to celebrate this week at assembly.
Harvey has been setting an excellent example at carpet time by sitting and listening superbly. Ollie beat his Big Maths Beat That score. Great job.
