The Early Years Centre have settled into their routines well and are enjoying the chance to explore all the different activities on offer.
Lots of fun had at the farm park, even the spitting camels, attacking seagulls and the drizzley rain didn’t dampen our day!!
This term we have enjoyed some outdoor learning and social visits in our Early Years centre, at Culzean we looked at signs of spring and the lovely flowers that we saw.

The children had a long walk to see the deer before we stopped at the café for our snack.
Maidens Early years Centre very kindly invited us to join them for their Easter celebrations, We decorated our hard boiled eggs before we went and took them with us. in between the rain showers we rolled our eggs down the hill to see who’s would crack, before enjoying some play in their nursery with lots of new friends and toys. The interactive touch table was a big hit. Mrs Foakes at Maidens had set up an Easter egg hunt for us all, we had to find colour matching eggs, and identify the shape, number and letter inside the egg…….it was a bit tricky!!
We look forward to seeing you all at our Easter Service, and hope you all have a lovely Easter break.
Some more pictures from our Scottish day at Maidens, we took part in mini Highland games(throw the welly, toss the caber, and throw the haggis), Â Scottish dancing, as well as some lovely Haggis,Neeps and Tatties for snack! We had a ball with our new friends, and snack was delicious.
Eve enjoyed taking part in the Scottish walk with the school, Lucy helped Eve along the way with the tasks that p5-7 set us. We had some drawing, drama, games. We visited Brig O’ Doon, Auld Kirk, Burns Cottage and Poets Path.

We were then invited to Alloway nursery to have fun on the soft play bus and a play in their nursery too. We have been very lucky getting invited to all these places. There’s been lots of arts and crafts  in the playroom and lots of mess from the cheeky elves!!
This week we had fun at our party, even invited Mrs Hill, Mr Parks and Jacqui whilst the school children were at the panto! It was a yummy party snack and bursting the balloons was great fun. And to finish our week and this term we had a lovely day at Dobbies visiting Santa and having our breakfast, before playing party games with the elf and Santa.
We would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!Â
