EARLY YEARS SCHOOL MEALS

All children in our Early Years Centre are eligible for a free school meal. If you would like to order a free school meal for your early years child, please do so by speaking with a member of our early years team as part of our ‘sign-in’ routine at drop-off time.  A copy of the menu is provided below.

Please may we ask for your help with speaking to your child either in the morning before nursery – or the night before – about the hot meal choice which is on the menu for the next day?

Packed lunches from home: You may wish to provide your child with a packed lunch for Early Years. Please place your child’s packed lunch in a plastic box or packed lunch box labelled with your child’s name.  We will put this straight into the fridge in the morning.

Free school meals: All children in Early Years, Primary 1, Primary 2, Primary 3, Primary 4 and Primary 5 are eligible for a free school meal. Your child in P6-7 may also be eligible for a free school meal. If you don’t have access to the internet, please telephone South Ayrshire on: 0300 123 0900 and ask to speak with a member of the team about a free school meal application.

Please do not hesitate to contact the school if you have any questions or queries about school meals. All school meals are freshly cooked in our school kitchen.  We can cater for pupils who have special dietary requirements – please contact our catering supervisor by telephoning the school.
