2021 Memories Video
A small collection of some of the best bits of another wonderful year at Colmonell Primary School and Early Years Centre. It’s been a tough, strange one but WE’RE STILL STANDING!! ⭐
Easter Fun 🐣🌷
Team work makes a dream work!
We learned to work in teams and listen to one another, take turns and share. We had to make a model out of junk and decide together on one thing to make. We had team names and all had to do something to help with the model. We made a shark, a mouth, a giraffe and a spider.
Responsible Citizens
Our awesome kids wanted to encourage the community to tidy up after their pets whilst out and about.
Child Led Play
The EYC joined P1-3 for transition and to play together. What a fantastic afternoon of super learning and working together. Some photos also show P1/2 at play. So much focus and imagination can be seen. Excellent work, children!
Space Activities
P1-3 and our “home schoolers” wanted to learn about Space. Here they decorated yummy space buns and made their own playdough. Super space stuff!
Busy bees!
We’ve been such busy bees in P1/2 and 3 since returning to school this term. Lots of wonderful learning going on across the curriculum! Well done kids, a fabulous effort.

Home Learning – Online Help 🖥️💻👩💻👨💻
The main thing to take from the following post is – don’t panic. Please don’t let the information overwhelm you. This is new to us all and we’ll get there!
The two videos below are to lead you through the set up of Glow/Teams on a range of devices and initial usage of Microsoft Teams. Some staff may encourage children to use the different settings within the app whilst live but these should get you started. I hope these help.
If there are any issues, please get in touch. Miss McAllister will be in school so may not be able to answer on here but will be available on sa16mcallisterr@glow.sch.uk or if you call the school 📞
We have found that the best quality and most effective way to use Teams is via the app, downloaded onto a PC or laptop (or mobile device like a tablet/iPad) with a camera and microphone – can be inbuilt or separate hardware. This also allows all participants to view each other on a grid style as opposed to one at a time, as on web browser version. Please see the second link to help with this
