A warm welcome to Barrhill Primary School and Early Years Centre website. Our school is situated in a beautiful village in the heart of a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, approximately 12 miles south of Girvan.

As a small school we are very proud of our family atmosphere and we strive to not only provide the highest quality of education, but also help our children become happy, successful, and fulfilled individuals. We set high standards with the view to giving the best possible start in life and by making use of the picturesque setting in which we are lucky enough to learn and have fun in each day.

As I am the joint head teacher of both Barrhill and Barr Primary Schools, I may not always be physically in the school, however I can always be contacted by telephone or email.

Through creating this website, our school is conforming to Article 17 of the United Nations Convention on the Right of the child which states that every child has the right to information from the mass media.
