COVID-19 vaccine drop-in opportunity – information for parents/carers of children aged 5-11 years old

If your 5-11 year old missed their COVID-19 vaccine but you still want them to have it, you can attend a local paediatric drop-in clinic. Taking place at the following times and locations:

 

  • Galleon Leisure Centre, Kilmarnock – Saturday 11 June, 9am – 5pm
  • Arran High School, Lamlash – Saturday 11 June, 9am – midday
  • Drongan Community Centre – Sunday 12 June, 2.30pm – 6pm
  • Citadel Leisure Centre, Ayr – Saturday 18 June, 8.30am – 1.30pm

 

This age group is eligible for 2 doses, 12 weeks apart.

Summer Reading Challenge

Summer Reading Challenge 25th June to 20th August 📚📚📚

Get ready for the Gadgeteers arriving online and in your local library this summer. Join the Gadgeteers for the Summer Reading Challenge to discover the amazing science and innovation behind the world around you.  The Summer Reading Challenge is aimed at Primary School children and is free to join.

 

Ü Sign up at your local library, get a collector’s poster and start reading to become a Gadgeteer.  Children keep a record of their reading on their poster and collect stickers to complete it. They get a small reward for every 2 books read. Visit www.summerreadingchallenge.org.uk and create a profile to access fun and games.
