All parents are interested in their child’s education. Parents of pupils at Barrhill Primary are automatically members of the Barrhill Primary Parent Forum. All parents are welcome to join the Parent Council.
The Parent Forum has a Parent Council to represent them. The type of things a Parent Council could get involved in are:
- Supporting the work of the school
- Fundraising
- Organising events
- Being involved in the appointment of Senior Staff
- Gathering and representing parents’ views to the Headteacher, Education Authority and HMIE
Parents are notified of all meetings and minutes of previous meetings are always available.
