Bluebell Team Treat Down the Beach
We had a lovely morning down the beach, digging houses, finding sandhoppers, crab shells and using up lots of energy.
Gaelic
Today we recapped our Gaelic colours and numbers. en. Then we learned how to say how we are feeling. Here’s a few photos showing some of the activities we participated in.
Outdoor Learning
Team Otter and Ivy had a great time rock pooling last week during our outdoor learning session. We found a hermit crab, sea shrimps and lots of baby fish. There were lots of wet feet at the end but well worth it. We have lots of wildlife enthusiasts in Ballantrae!
Lots of play and learning
We have been learning lots through our play blocks. We have been making books, measuring distances, writing menus, story telling, problem solving, working as a team and applying our literacy and numeracy skills. We also had a great time exploring the frozen gardens, lots of talk, questions and scientific investigation happening.
2D shape and 3d objects
Today we have been using play to explore and investigate 2D shapes and 3d objects. We are now experts on Prisms! Well done primary 1-3 for sharing their learning with Primary 4/5
