Outdoors with Primary 5-7
Primary 5, 6 and 7 enjoyed an afternoon in the outdoor playground and Muga today. They were playing football, building ramps, playing in our mud kitchen, making and playing with a drum set, and even building a hotel!
Ballantrae p6/7 Running Club
For our last running club session we ran along the Mains Road. Thanks very much to our parent helpers, Mrs Stevenson and Mrs Jenkins. Running club will start again after the Christmas holidays.
Day of Dance
On Friday morning p6/7 went to the day of dance at Girvan Primary. Some of the dances that we did were The Gay Gordons, Flying Scotsman and Copycat. As our dancing was so good, we were asked to demonstrate the dances for everyone else! We were a bit nervous but we were excellent!
P6/7 Running Club
The Ballantrae running club has been very successful so far!
Primary 6 and 7 Drama
Primary 6 and 7 pupils had a drama input from Drama Box. They enjoyed taking part in activities which developed their ability to improvise, mime, and use their voice to portray different characters. 
Primary 6/7 Cooking
Primary 6 and 7 were developing their cooking skills by making soup. They successfully worked as a team to peel and chop the vegetables and thoroughly enjoyed eating their delicious soup. There was even enough for the nursery children to have some of the lovely soup!

First day of term 3
Primary 1/2 had a great first day back. We spent lots of time talking about what we enjoyed most from the Christmas holidays. Primary 3 and 4 joined us in the afternoon and we started our new topic all about Dinosaurs. In PE primary 1 and 2 explored how Dinosaurs might move and used this to create our own dances. Lots of fun was had!
Activities with Girvan Primary 1 Pupils
Our Ballantrae Primary 1 and 2 class enjoyed playing and learning with the pupils from the Girvan Primary 1 class. Thanks to Miss Blackie for inviting us along to join in the fun.
