We have been developing our talking and listening skills in french by learning different conversational phrases and using these phrases to ask and answer questions, such as ‘how are you?’ and ‘what is your name?’. We have also been learning to say, read and write the colours in French.

Primary 6/7 have been enjoying the outdoor classroom.
Read Write Count Day 2
Today primary 6 and 7 pupils are working with their primary 1/2/3 buddies to predict what the front cover might look like and what the title could be after reading through the story. The task for the p1/2/3 pupils is to draw what they think the front cover might look like.
Read Write Count Activities
Primary 6 and 7 have started working with p1/2/3 on Read Write Count activities. Primary 6 and 7 have planned a range of activities for their buddies in primary 1/2/3. Today they have been predicting what might happen in the story using information from the blurb and the front cover and are also playing a maths game.
Nursery Gaelic
The nursery boys and girls have been learning Gaelic with the help of Ruby and Evelyn from primary 6. They have been singing Gaelic songs and learning how to say colours in Gaelic. Today we sang a song about a Damhan-allaidh (spider) !
Riley Reads to primary 6 and 7
Riley visited primary 6 and 7 to show off his excellent reading skills. Riley confidently read his book to the class and answered lots of different questions. Well done Riley!
Primary 6 and 7 Library Work
Primary 6 and 7 have been busy helping to organise our school library. They have been organising books and resources and creating labels for all the books.
Maths Transition Afternoon
On Wednesday 12th February, primary 7 visited Girvan Academy to take part in a math transition afternoon. The primary 7 pupils enjoyed the maths activities.

Awesome Club
Evelyn, Charlotte and Erin have planned and organised ‘Awesome Club’ which runs on a Monday lunchtime for primary 1-5. The girls have been very organised and the pupils have really enjoyed themselves.
