The pupils thoroughly enjoyed it. The other part of the day was spent at the beach with Miss Armour and Miss McCathie. Pupils took part in a maths problem solving challenge, created Haiku poems and played some group games. A great day was had by all!

Primary 6/7 Gaelic
In primary 6 and 7 we have been learning Gaelic. Today we were learning to name pets in Gaelic. We played charades where a pupil had to guess the pet and say it in Gaelic. We have also been working on describing our feelings in Gaelic and today we managed to write some sentences describing our feelings.
Gaelic
Miss Armour has been visiting all of the classes to develop Scottish Gaelic. We have been learning to read and say colours, numbers and pets in Gaelic and we have also been learning phrases to help us take part in small conversations using Gaelic.
