The boys and girls had a lovely day at the Burns Museum. We got to dress up as mice in the Tim’rous Beasties workshop, explored the Burns exhibition and sang ‘heed, shooders, knaps and taes! We also had a special Christmas visitor who came to visit us in a red suit and a big sack with presents! After lunch we went outside to the play park and had great fun running around and playing on the zip wire.

Pop-Up Flapjack Shop
The EYC children, as part of their learning, made and sold Flapjacks to the school boys and girls as a wee enterprise task. They enjoyed making the flapjacks and biscuits together, then set up their wee stall in the foyer to sell them using the play money till. We sold them for 20p each and made £6! Job well done! The school children were asking when the Pop-Up shop will be back!
