Location
Alloway Primary is in the heart of the Alloway district of Ayr. It is close to two parks – Rozelle and Belleisle, where you can play football and rugby on the pitches. Burns Cottage is just down the road and the Monument and Heritage Centre are also close by.
Alloway Parish Church is within walking distance as is Cambusdoon Sports Centre, where there is a Cricket Club and a Hockey Club. You can also play football there. In addition there are two swing parks close to the school.
Three roads surround the school – Upper Crofts, Doonholm Road and The Loaning. In Alloway village there are several shops including a Post office, a coffee shop, a gift shop/flower shop, and a chemist. There is also a Village Hall directly across from Burns Cottage.
