Miss Gilligan leads the Modern Languages Committee and together they support the school in promoting various languages as well as plan exciting events and our Modern Languages focus weeks.

The MLan Committee in Alloway are known as “Language Leaders” around the school and encourage pupils and staff to use French to start each day. They have completed an audit round the whole school to check that French is being used on displays and they provide excellent resources to ensure the language is embedded in every class such as a key question dice for every classroom. 

During the week beginning Monday 3rd. February it is Languages Week in Scotland. We will be encouraging classes to sing in French and have fun with languages.
