What does NURTURE mean?

- The action or process of nurturing someone or something.
Aims
Our aim is to promote a nurturing environment around the school by encouraging positive friendships and kindness. We have been working closely together to think of new ways we can promote positive friendships, happiness, build self-esteem and general positivity. We hope to spread, across the whole school, some kind encouragement and reminders about the importance of: listening, being respectful, kindness, happiness, being a good team mate, being helpful and being a good friend.
Meetings
We are currently creating some beautiful Positive Affirmation posters and we cannot wait to display these around the school! We hope that these lovely affirmations will put a smile face on everybody’s face and encourage all children and teachers to believe in themselves and spread positivity!
In our upcoming meetings we are going to discuss the importance of keeping our school environment tidy and begin to work together to create a tidy and welcoming school environment. We will also start to plan a Kindness Week for some point in Term 3.
