Anti-Bullying

This is our school Respect for All Policy.  In line with Renfrewshire and National guidance, our policy is used to inform our school community about what bullying is and how we deal with it here at Woodlands Primary School.

Our values underpin everything that we do, and we will always adopt a values based approach in how we respond to bullying and support those who have experienced bullying type behaviour and those who have displayed bullying type behaviour.

Do you know about the Keep Safe Kids App? The app was launched in November 2021 and is available on Apple and Android devices and is free to download. Many young people find it difficult to report bullying. They wanted an accessible way to report, a way which would give them support and control over when and how they reported incidents. They can also report incidents confidentially and anonymously.

The Keep Safe Kids App is a new way for children and young people to get advice, guidance and support from a range of organisations, such as SeeMe, respectme and LGBT Youth. The App will bring lots of fantastic organisations together to help make it easier for people to access information.

The App will also provide children, young people and their families/friends with a new way to report bullying directly to their school. Using the App will not change the way the reports are responded to, it will just offer a new and accessible way to get support and make reports, at a time that is suitable for you.
