This term we are going to the Bield. We did drama and we made sharp movements at first we did it in singles then pared up then we made a group of 4 and next time we are going to do it in groups of 8. The next group played games like skoosh splat, wink murder, tig and duck duck goose. The third group a.k.a the climbers were climbing in a room about 1 meter wide and 30 meters high. We had a lot of fun the first 2 groups swapped around

We have been learning about evacuation in our World War 2 topic,
We learned that children had to move from the city to the country because the city was not safe because houses and factories were getting bombed.
The children would be put on a train with a group of other children and their teacher they would stay with relatives if they had any in
At the Primary 7 Hockey Tournament, on of the Primary 7’s turned their hand to commentary. It was a fantastic afternoon and great fun was had by all.
Today at our school we have been doing a Macmillan cancer support morning , we have been making and selling cakes and raising lots and lots of money here are some of the pictures that we took,
HOCKEY
In primary 7 we have been doing outdoor hockey and it is really fun and competitive.
Some games we play are king of the ring and octopus style hockey and we also do competitive matches.
On Wednesday all of p7 went up to Castle Head and played matches on their new pitch here are some pictures. By Keeva.
This week in basketball we did the chocolate challenge which is a thing where we try to get a basket in from the middle of the court
If we get it in we get a chocolate bar. We also played some matches. In the bib team there was Jack and none bib team there was Daniel.
This week in Primary 7b we have been learning about evacuation. Children, Older people, People with disabilities, pregnant mums and mums with very young children (under 4) were evacuated to the country-side. The reason for this is because Germans were expected to bomb cities and factories and docks. School children were evacuated with their teachers then billeted to places like a farm or cottage and even rarely a big house. Children could only bring a small suitcase with things like their Sunday-best, socks, handkerchiefs and school clothes.
