PTA

Every parent automatically becomes a member of the Parent Forum when their child starts school, enabling any parent to get involved with school life in whatever way they can, whether it is helping out on a trip or disco, participating in parent curriculum workshops, supporting an extra-curricular sports activity, sharing work place knowledge with a group of children in the classroom or as a representative on the Parent Council.  We have a very active PTA which raises funds for the benefit of all pupils. What makes this possible is the generosity of parents and the wider school community when they participate in events organised by the Parent Council such as  the Christmas Fayre. The money raised is used by the school to fund a range of activities and items including:   IT equipment and outdoor learning. But it’s not just about raising money, the Parent Council offers parents the opportunity to have an input into the discussion about important issues affecting the school and enables parents to get involved across a range of activities. For more information about how the Parent Council supports the school, you can visit their Facebook page or contact the office bearers via the school office.
