In Thorn Primary a positive attitude to behaviour and work is encouraged.

Our aim is to establish a happy relaxed environment in which each child may develop his/ her full potential. Positive attitudes to work and behaviour is essential if this is to be achieved. Every child is encouraged to follow our school rules.

Our point system encourages good behaviour, positive and caring attitudes and good effort with their school work.

Parental support is very important in encouraging good behaviour and attitudes to work.

Concerns regarding bullying should be reported to the Senior Leadership Team.  Children are encouraged to tell staff if they feel they are being bullied. We take allegations of bullying very seriously and incident are carefully investigated and monitored. Parents of those involved are kept informed.
