All children are encouraged, through a variety of activities, to acquire skills in maths and to develop confidence in using and applying them in real life contexts.
Mental maths strategies are practised daily at all stages and we emphasis the practical use of materials including computers and programmable toys.
Opportunities for active learning and engagement in maths games/ problem solving activities are key components of our Numeracy and Maths Curriculum.
We currently use Leckie throughout the school to support our Numeracy and Maths programme.
