The Anchor Base is a specialised, integrated provision for children with a range of communication difficulties which is located in St Paul’s.

We cater for up to twenty four children, organized into three classes.  Classes are supported by their class teacher and classroom assistants. We work with appropriate outside agencies as a multi-disciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to meeting the individual needs of our pupils. Where appropriate, pupils will be included in mainstream classes as part of their Child’s Plan.

Following appropriate assessment, children attend from all areas of Renfrewshire Authority, transport is provided if appropriate. The unit is non-denominational.
