Health and Wellbeing

Learning in health and wellbeing ensures that children and young people develop the knowledge, understanding and skills which they need now and in the future.

In our school we explore the physical side of being healthy through Physical Education. We learn different sports, gymnastics, athletics and dance. We get to do P.E. in the gym and also on our new pitch. Every year we are taught the importance of anti-bullying. At assembly the head teacher raises the awareness of anti-bullying and emphasises that no one should suffer. We also learn about road safety and last year we started a Junior Road Safety Committee to take responsibilty for making sure our school knows about road safety. (By Primary 7)
