The 2020 summer reading challenge is a digital activity to keep children reading over the summer.

This years, silly squad will celebrate funny books, happiness and laughter.

Summer critical childcare for key workers 

We will continue to offer a critical childcare service for the children of single parents who are key workers or for children with two parents if they are both key workers. We are also supporting children and young people from vulnerable families. 

We have already contacted key workers and families who are currently using our service. If you think you meet the criteria for this support, you can find out more and how to apply on the council’s website.

Hear My Music will be running their summer music school for autistic children and young people remotely this year, participation will be online from home via zoom sessions. There are spaces for group and individual sessions dependent on specific needs, please get in touch to register your interest and we will send an online form to fill in.
