School Uniform

As we move to a form of education which welcomes outdoor learning in all weather conditions, we have rethought our uniform at Rashielea Primary School.
We encourage all children to adhere to weather conditions and dress appropriately for the weather forecast.

We recommend:

• Black/navy joggies or leggings.
• White/navy/red polo shirt or plain t-shirt.
• Navy/red jumper.
• Wellies (to be worn outside).
• Soft shoes/trainers (to be worn inside).
• Waterproof jacket/trousers.

We encourage all children to show resilience when learning outdoors and therefore ask that they come to school prepared to be out in all Scottish weather. Please do not send your child to school with items of clothing that are of great value, as there is a chance they will get dirty.

Any items of clothing or property that are misplaced will be handed into lost property with the janitor and can be checked by children when in school. It would also be helpful if school clothing could be marked with name tags e.g. coats, sweatshirts, shoe bags, trainers etc.
