It’s Maths Week!
Primary 6 have lots of fun activities planned within the classroom during the week.
However, there are also lots of ways parents/guardians can be involved in their child’s maths week experience:
1) The maths homework for the week is to show us and discuss how you used maths and numeracy in every day, real life situations. You can send photos or evidence into school or tweet us using twitter handles: @Rashielea_PS @AttainRen and #MWSREN
2) Pupils have been entered into the Sumdog Scottish Maths Contest which started on Friday 7th at 8am and finishes Thursday 13th at 8pm. Your child should have their username and password stuck inside their diary.
3) A maths and numeracy trail has been created for you to complete with your child before or after school.
Don’t forgot to dress up on Friday. We will all be dancing at 2.15pm to celebrate the end of maths week!!!
We have had a brilliant start in primary 6!
Our P.E. days this year are a Monday and a Tuesday.
Next week is Maths Week, children are encouraged to dress up in a maths themed outfit or costume on Friday 14th September. I’m very excited to see what they come up with!
What a fantastic start to the school year we have had!
The children are fully of smiles and happy faces to be reunited with their friends.
Here are some important dates for the diary for the next few months.
