Hello everyone,
We are looking forward to our Christmas presentation tomorrow afternoon at 2pm. Children received a letter home today containing the Google meet details needed to join. We will open the Google meet at 1:50 pm and will start 2:00 pm.
Children are asked to wear school uniform and are welcome to wear a Christmas hat, headband or some tinsel if they would like but it is not necessary.
We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow.
Good morning,
We hope you all have had a lovely weekend.
This week the spelling rule is o_e.
For your spelling homework please copy the words into your homework jotter, two further times.
Common words
Explore the world around you to find other words that use the o_e spelling rule. We would love to hear these words in class.
We would also like you to create a sentence of your own. Your sentence should include at least one or more of the spelling rule words. For example: Tom had a cold nose.
All homework should be returned by Friday for your teacher to mark.
Maths
The maths homework grid should be attached to your homework assignment. Remember to only complete one activity a week. The activities chosen should be different each week. This is to give the children some variety.
Reading
Your child has been issued a new book to read at home. If possible you could discuss the content of the book. For example: what your child liked or disliked or predictions about characters. This helps support your child’s comprehension skills.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with your child’s teacher.
Hello everyone,
Each child in class P2b and P2k have a line from our Christmas poem to practise, which has been sent home today. We would be grateful if you could check your child has their line in their school bag.
If you have any questions, please contact us.
Many thanks

Hello everyone,
Just a reminder as part of Maths week, all children have the opportunity to participate in the Sumdog mathematics contest online. If your child would like they can use their Sumdog login details to access the contest at home and answer questions to help each class climb the leader board. Sumdog is a wonderful way for children to have fun whilst improving their knowledge and understanding in mathematics.
The Sumdog contest ends at 8pm on Thursday 30th September.
Enjoy and have fun learning!
