This Week

We have had a very interesting week in Primary 2! We started creating our designs for our cars and came up with some very cool ideas.

We also had fun creating the Grammar Gang – Naomi Noun, Adam Adjective and Veronica Verb. We shared all our different words and placed them on the characters to help us remember.

Today during freeflow, some of the children decided to create some Scotttish Art.

We also started learning about Rainforests and discussed what we would like to learn. We met Tommy the Tree Frog, who lives in the canopy high up in the trees. I explained to the children that twice a week a child will take Tommy home and fill in their adventures with him in his diary. They were very excited and can’t wait to see what I have been up to with Tommy at the weekend.

I will be hearing all the Scottish poems on Monday and Tuesday. I am excited to hear them!

Have a lovely weekend everyone.

Burns Assembly Poems

Hi there

At the coming Burns Assembly (w/b 4th Feb) one child from each class will be chosen to read a Scots poem. Your child has been issued with four Scots poems. They should choose one to learn and read out to the class for w/b 28th January. Can you please circle the poem your child has chosen to allow us to note what poem each child is reading. Thanks.
