The Science Technology Engineering and Maths Club is run by Ms.White.

Some children in P6/7 signed up and have been attending the schools new STEM Club. We have been looking at the subjects: Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths and are getting hands on with some different experiments and challenges that will help develop our Higher Order Thinking and Problem Solving Skills.

We were scientists when we carried out the Coke and Mentos experiment, which was so much fun and now we know why the chemical reactions happens!

We have also been engineers and had to work to a design brief of making a free standing structure with only a few resources. We successfully made tinfoil towers and also bridges from only newspaper and tape. One measured taller than a ruler and one managed to support the weight of 11 dictionaries!
