Langbank Parent Partnership (L.P.P)
Recent LPP minutes – LPP minutes 15th Feb 24
Langbank Primary has an excellent relationship with the parent council. A meeting is held at least once a term where we discuss important developments within the school including self evaluation and the school improvement plan. The parent council meetings are an opportunity for parents to share their views on life of the school. In addition the council plays an invaluable role in raising funds to support many aspects of the school. Recently, for example, the parent council was instrumental in organising funding for new trim trails and outdoor classroom, a new school garden and also funding whole school trips.
The parent council are very welcoming. Anyone from our learning community may attend meetings and they are always looking for new recruits. The current team includes:
Chairperson Mr Rodger
Secretary Mrs Burrows
Treasurer Mrs Kane
Education Liaison Officer Mrs Smith

Several meetings take place during the year. These include formal meetings of the L.P.P and focussed meetings of the fundraising group.
The L.P.P work closely with the school supporting many events and providing funds to supplement equipment to benefit our school.
