At Howwood PS pupils are encouraged to understand the beliefs and values of others, including those from a variety of religions. This is taught through experiences in assembly and the ongoing promotion of the school values in many areas of school life. Pupils are also encouraged to reflect on their own values and their own behaviours to others through RME. Pupil voice is integral in planning for RME and pupils often choose to experience world religious celebrations through tasting food and dance.
