We have attained the Gold level for the Green Tree Award from the Woodland Trust.
It is awarded to schools who encourage outdoor learning and inspires pupils about trees, woods and wildlife. So far we have completed 15 challenges.
We hosted an outdoor reading party for Primary 1 pupils beside the old Fordbank tree in our school garden area.
It included getting wrapped up warm and into our waterproofs.
Working with our outdoor learning lead/early years practitioner Angela, Pupils connected with nature as part of their nurture sessions.
