Attendance is recorded twice a day, morning and afternoon.
Contact Procedures
If a child is absent from school, parents are required to phone or email the school office by 9.30am. If no telephone call or email is received, parents will automatically receive a text message asking them to phone the school.
The Renfrewshire educational psychologists have been working hard on a programme to support attendance and timekeeping as we build back from the pandemic. We know there are strong links between good attendance and timekeeping and higher attainment. As part of this work they have created some did you know posters for us to share with parents.
I hope you will take the time to consider the points particularly if your child’s attendance and timekeeping has declined. It is important we have good home school communication about attendance and timekeeping so you may receive communication from school if your child’s attendance and timekeeping drops below a certain level.
