As part of the BBC micro:bit – the next gen campaign, UK primary school pupils can get involved in a large-scale playground survey during the summer term.
Your classes can use the BBC micro:bit to investigate the size, biodiversity, temperature and pupil activity levels in your school playground. The survey activities will introduce pupils to machine learning and working with digital data. Broadly suitable for BGE Level 2/3.
Join the Micro:bit Educational Foundation for a walk through the exciting resources and support available to help your class become data scientists in their very own playground.
Education Scotland will be carrying out a live lesson to support this in the coming weeks Register via the link below BBC micro:bit Playground Survey Information Session for Teachers – DigiLearn (glowscotland.org.uk)
