What a week! What a month! What a year! After our outstanding Shared Campus show, I can’t believe that on Monday, 26th June we will be saying goodbye to P7 at their Valedictory Service at 1.15 and then they have their school prom from 6:00 – 8:00 on Monday night.
This is our last newsletter of the session and includes details of next year’s classes and staffing. This information was delayed due to staffing confirmation. We hope you have a wonderful summer break and look forward to seeing you all on Tuesday, 15th August.

We are delighted to announce that we were granted the Digtal School Scotland award for our use of digital technology in school. Well done to all our pupils for impressing Mr Dunn, the assessor, when he visited our school. They were able to showcase the work they were doing with a range of apps as well as talk confidently about when they used digital tools. A special thanks to our Digital Leaders, some of whom are off to the Apple Store for a special Digital Learning Week visit, and to Mr Paton and Miss Dowson for organising Digital Learning Week. An extra thanks to Miss Dowson for taking Mr Dunn through our self-evaluation during our validation visit – we couldn’t have done it without her.
Well done Cochrane Castle! #digitaldifference
