Happy New Year Primary 5S! I hope you have had a fabulous Christmas break with your families. I am looking forward to hearing all of your stories during check-in tomorrow.
We have another very busy term ahead of us with exciting new topics and activities to take part in. I hope you are looking forward to it.
Our homework will begin next week however, as always, feel free to complete some personal reading or extra practice of the number operations. I have added the links for the multiplication and division trainers just incase!
I have been looking through your reading passports and I am very impressed at just how much many of you read last term. As I am keen to keep this enthusiasm going, we will be completing another challenge this term. I have changed the criteria slightly which I will go it with you in class tomorrow.
- P.E. is on Friday. Please ensure you have a full change of kit for both these sessions: top, shorts and trainers. Girls, please ensure you have socks to change into if you are wearing tights.
- Our lunch menu will be week 4. Please remember there is a change to this as chicken pie will be served instead of steak pie.
- Our class will be visiting the Science Centre on Friday 13th January in preparation for our Clyde in the Classroom topic. Permission slips will be issued this week and must be returned as soon as possible as we have a very small turnaround time. I will discuss this with you in class tomorrow.
- We will be needing some plastic screw top water bottles (about 20) that we can recycle as ice packs. If you have any you are finished with at home, please bring them to school. We will need them for our hatchery which will be arriving at the end of the month.
See you in the morning.
