P5S – Enjoying ERIC!

We have had another week where we have Enjoyed Reading  IClass. As a school we are promoting the importance of reading and every day we will have a short time in class where we will just read and discuss the books we are reading.

Our beanbag rota is working very well and our pillows and blankets are being used very creatively. Remember you are more than welcome to bring in your own pillow and/or blanket to use during these sessions. Our classroom cupboard is filling up very quickly with a selection which have already been brought from home.

Here are a few photographs from some of our sessions this week.

P5S – ERIC Time

I am delighted to say that the enthusiasm for our ERIC sessions is still high. Everyone is really enjoying these mini reading sessions in class which is wonderful to see.

If you have a favourite blanket or cushion/pillow from home that you would like to use during ERIC, please remember you may bring them in and store them in our class cupboard.

Here are a few photographs from some of our sessions this week.

P5S ERIC

Each day in class we will have our ERIC time. Please ensure you have a suitable book to read during these times. You may borrow one from the class library or bring one from home.

This week I have loved seeing the enthusiasm from you all during our ERIC sessions and some of you are being very creative in finding a reading space in class.

Here are just a few photographs from our ERIC sessions this week.
