- For our Personal Reading Challenge Kate has read 8 books so far. If each book has 224 pages, how many pages has Kate read in total?
- There are 50 pupils in Primary 5. One fifth of them plan to have a school dinner on Thursday. How many will have a school dinner that day?
- On Saturday Finlay went to a chess competition. He left his house at 9.30am and never returned until 8.15pm that night. How long was Finlay out of the house for?
- Last Friday 21 pupils in P5S walked to school. One third of them got a lift home at the end of the day. How many children got a lift home?
- Challenge Question (a) Out of the 50 pupils in Primary 5 one fifth have brown eyes. How many have brown eyes?
(b) How many do not have brown eyes?
(c) Half of the remaining P5 children have blue eyes. How many children have blue eyes?
