Glasgow

Here is the bird that did fly

spread its wings and flew

never ceasing, ever increasing as ambitious Glasgow grew.

Here is the tree that did grow

sprouting at a quick pace

branches reaching down below

creating our dear green place

Here is the bell that dud ring

with clear and positive chimes

always changing but never stopping

keeping up with modern times

Here is the fish that did swim

down the Clyde towards the sea

on an unexpected whim

happily feeling free

Our dear green place we have to nourish

So lets make Glasgow flourish!
