- Duncan, Gregor, Adam, Brandon, Killian and Andrew went to the Irn Bru Carnival. They decided to go on the dodgems. If it cost £13.50 for them all to go on, how much did it cost each boy?
- As part of his football training Sam J has to run 3 laps of the football pitch? If one lap is 270m long how far will Sam J run?
- As part of his rugby training Owen also has to run 3 laps of the rugby pitch. (a) If one lap is 380m how far does Owen have to run? (b) Who runs further Sam J or Owen and by how much?
- Eilidh has a book token with £10.00 on it. She buys two books costing £3.99 and £4.50. How much money is left on her book token.
- Challenge Question: Blair wants to finish his Personal Reading Challenge book as quickly as he can. His book has 768 pages in it. Blair started reading his book on Monday and by Wednesday night he had read 318 pages. (a) How many pages does he still have to read? (b) If he read an equal amount of pages each day, how many pages did he read each day? (c) If he wants to complete his book by Friday night, and still reads an equal number of pages each day, how many pages will he have to read per day?
